The Megavault® Skylites are made of self-supporting Vikon Valiant Skylite tubular extruded aluminium structures. They are designed to withstand design loads while still allowing for the different coefficients of thermal expansion of thermoplastic glazing materials and the aluminium structure.
Design Capabilities
Semi-circular, low rise, mid rise, as well as elliptical.
T-intersections and L intersections. The Megavault® Skylite can span up to 18 m with unrestricted length. Greater span may require additional support.
Glazing
Megavault’® Skylites can be constructed with a single or double skin in either polycarbonate, structured polycarbonate or acrylic sheets. Sheets are easily cold formed to suit any curve and can easily be replaced if necessary.
Accessories
Ventilation louvres, fire louvres, powervent shading systems.
